Frequently asked questions

Tickets

Employer paid or self-paid, which is right for me?

The self-paid ticket is not affiliated and does not mention a company in the invoice so it can’t be reimbursed. We encourage people in the industry who can afford the conference or get reimbursed to go for the employer-paid ticket (think of the employer paid as the standard ticket at any other conference.)

If you’re ordering your ticket while at work, or ordering on behalf of others, the employer paid is the right choice.

The self-paid ticket is meant to help people who can’t make it otherwise (for example, folks coming due to personal interest not working in the field). There’s a limited amount of those, and we can only offer them thanks to the gratuitous help of our sponsors!

Can I get reimbursed if I bought a self-paid ticket, and now my employer does actually pay for the employer paid ticket?

Please try to avoid this situation. If you expect this to happen, let us know ahead of time at tickets@graphicsprogrammingconference.com and we’ll find a solution that works for you.

Can I get invoiced?

You can get invoiced, but we won’t go through onboarding unless you’re ordering a lot of tickets in bulk. Invoiced tickets have the same price as normal tickets but have no VAT applied - meaning, a 533€ invoiced ticket costs you 533€ plus VAT (which is pass-through for companies.)

What happens September 1st? Tickets are only on sale until then?

On September 1st, we’re switching to late ticket prices. Those will be:

Please buy a ticket early to get the favorable pricing.
