Goals and Activities

Goal

Graphics Programming Conference aims to organize non-profit and in public interest conferences on graphics programming, as well as to transfer and share knowledge and skills regarding graphics programming, and to perform all such further acts and activities as are in the widest sense connected therewith, incidental thereto and/or which may be conducive thereto.

To achieve our goal, Graphics Programming Conference undertakes the following activities:

Organizing meetups and conferences:

We anually host a conference, where experts and enthusiasts come together to share knowledge and present new developments.

Knowledge sharing and education:

We offer talks and training sessions for students and professionals, training them in the techniques and development of rendering and graphics technologies.

Establishing collaborations:

Graphics Programming Conference collaborates with companies, individuals, and educational institutions to broaden and further develop our collective industry knowledge.

Graphics Programming Conference derives income from various sources:

Sponsorship

Companies and organizations can choose from several sponsorship options to support Graphics Programming Conference’s activities. This ranges from financial support to providing resources for specific events.

Grants and Funds

We actively seek grants and funds for non-profits that align with our mission to promote graphics programming within the European Union.

Donations

Donations from the Graphics Programming community members and other stakeholders are welcomed to ensure the growth and continuity of our activities.

Ticket Sales

We sell tickets to the conference to make sure we have a solid finanical base for hosting the conference.

Financial Accountability

Use of Income

Organizing events: Income is used to organize meetups, workshops, and conferences, including costs for venue rental, speakers, and materials.

Diversity and Inclusion Grants

A portion of the income is used to provide grants to projects that increase diversity in sports data analysis.

Holding Assets

Any remaining funds are held in a savings account to support future projects and activities. Investments are currently not considered.

Accountability and Reporting

At the end of each calendar year, Graphics Programming Conference prepares a financial report detailing all income and expenses. This report is presented to the board and published on our website.

Remuneration Policy

Board and Governing Body

The Graphics Programming Conference board works on a voluntary basis and does not receive compensation for their work. However, expenses may be reimbursed if they are approved in advance and related to Graphics Programming Conference activities.

Staff

Currently, Graphics Programming Conference has no paid employees. In the future, external experts may be hired for specific projects, with market-based rates applied.
